If you are searching for Omaha real estate, you may have discovered by now that the preferred method of searching is by school district rather than by city or town. There are a number of communities in the Omaha metro area, including Bennington, Elkhorn, Millard, Gretna, Ralston, and Bellevue. In addition, there is an area known as District 66, also called Westside Omaha, and Papillion-La Vista, which were two towns that merged their school districts when they were annexed by the City of Omaha.

All of these different communities are unique and can be a challenge to understand for someone wanting to relocate to Omaha. In fact, the different Omaha neighborhoods can be a challenge for Omaha real estate agents to keep straight.

There is an easy way to search for Omaha real estate without all the confusion, and that’s by a combination of searching for Omaha homes by Omaha area school districts and Omaha map search. In this way, you can search for homes visually, and get a list of all the homes available for sale in any particular school district or neighborhood.
